In the woods yesterday, clearing a bit of ground to give water somewhere to disperse. Been having flooding problems recently. Water just gets funnelled down hill then down our lane, trying to give it a bit of relief before it gets to us then going to add a soakaway off lane.

Reclaiming a bit of ground didn’t take a picture of the before  but went in with tractor and 9ft flail first that made mince meat of the 20 years of neglect then digger to flail the fence line to make it easier to cut any branches off (need a tree sheer really)

What flail are you running? Converted tractor hedge cutter?

Yea just a head of a bomford hedge cutter works fairly well I’d like try put a pump on the digger for it tho if I could find room🙈
Same as mine then, it was mega on the 3cx which had a free flow return to tank, rotor would sit spinning freely for ages once it was turned off! Joysticks operated on the seat facing foreword, was a joy to use tbh. Just needed a lock on option for the hammer circuit as the old finger soon ached holding it down!

Mine spins free as I T the lines together with a check valve between them hopefully stops the motor blowing its seals out due to back pressure, my trouble is hydraulic flow but I think the pump is getting tired on the digger tbf with 5500hours on it

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better

cheaper option than a cross line relief valve for sure and works very well

This was the best one, picked that up then slewed round 180 with it across the traffic 👌🏻
Poland is the same, seen a school trip walking among moving diggers, a small telehandler driving full pelt up a footpath and people jumping out of the road, not one feck given, made a nice change. Here’s some from poznan in June, diggers right beside us at a pub. How did things in Britain get so soft
