Another one started, suprising how our planning is all out of wack and im having to bring forward the usual deliveries and inspections on jobs, pretty sound testimonial for the tilty/gripper setup..... both the digger and me have deff got more gas left in the tank by nightime ...lot less handwork, carrying and general riving and chewing

Spot of crushing with the new crusher, hell of a tool!! I can just about keep up with it on my machine flat out, but not for long!! And only when it’s wound right down to type1 size - which we did about 60ton of first thing, lots of farm tracks to repair after the bad weather!!

Annihilates natural stone, had some really hard blue concrete through it , gets loud crushing it but it still flies through.

I sent some old cobbles through a smaller one once, sounded like id put hand grendades into it!

Yesterday opposite us in Surrey ...new council owned industrial units ...
Hiab turns up from degenham blocks half road then doesn't move for ages.eventually I asked the site manager wtf as I had two full artics to unload .he said she's turned up without a lift plan to lift a new car charger in to place so won't let her do anything. Eventually at midday they got the onsite telehandler to do it ...looked like sparkies were going mental 🫣 bonkers

you might like to point out to the tw*t that caused the chaos that, what was allowed eventually has no swivel link in the chain's attachment point .... and did that have a RAMS and lift plan? .... utter wankers most of them

you might like to point out to the tw*t that caused the chaos that, what was allowed eventually has no swivel link in the chain's attachment point .... and did that have a RAMS and lift plan? .... utter wankers most of them

Also aren't hiab unloads covered by a generic lift plan anyway. As long as the hiab is picking up or dropping off what it carries rather than being brought in for a lift. Certainly never seen a specific lift plan when Travis or jewsons deliver.

I have similar generic rams in the truck.

If its considered a basic lift, yes a generic lift plan covers it.

When your a real pro you can do one foot on the brake and one on the throttle

Three weeks later I'm quite proficient if I do say so myself. Did a pretty assertive six hours in it this afternoon. Drove my van back to the shed at the end of the day and had a minor heart attack when my left foot hit the floor and the van wasn't stopping. Did work out it was a clutch pedal before rolling into the shed.

Grew out of the stalk quite quickly when I discovered forward/neutral/reverse on a rocker trigger on the joystick. Two handing, two footing and have used the top of my head to hammer the ceiling a couple of times.

lovely we put jackstone /pudding stone ,the stuff with quartzite in it ,no probs at all
