Anderson connectors that's the type of pump I use ATM I just thought how easy it would be to just stick it in the can and go

I have my inline fuel pump attached to a strip of 20 x 4 S/steel with the pipe cable tied to it, just short of the bottom of the s/steel strip .. long enough to reach the bottom of a 45 drum and keep it straight ... and the output hose a flexi to drop into whatever i'm filling ... they're a very fast pump TBF

I just use old 10l ad blue drums, much easier to lump across site and hold up with one hand than the 20/25l drums.

I do have a 12v pump but not worth the faff for my mini machines.

Antiglug cans are a game changer. We move a lot of fuel around.. (Kero mostly) and tried most ways over the years. Used to have a plunger pump on 25litre can for bio deisel which was OK for vans worth of fuel. We have got a few 12v transfer pumps mounted on trolleys for pumping from cans into tanks, but the best little pump we have ever had is the milwaukee 18v pump... says not for fuel but ours has been used exclusively on Kero which is much nastier than derv, and its done a lot of work happily enough. You can buy replacment impellers online as well.

Are you running on bio or chip fat that used to be me going to Devon with drums of waste cooking oil in the boot of my pergeot 406 cos I was too tight to buy diesel

You do know that Milwaukee make a dedicated pump on 18v?

Yes but I really want a stick pump and they say it's not for fuel also this pump works for lpg SW

For £100 might have to add some red to the yellow dominance was eyeing up the deep cut bandsaw, have the DEWALT bandsaw but DEWALT don’t do deep cut one in uk annoyingly but Milwaukee do.

That hydrostick is brilliant for quickly clearing stopcock chambers etc.

Aha. That’s what I found when you mentioned it, but I was hoping there was a real one on the market. I’ve got a couple of fake dewalt bits (glue gun and USB chargers) and not had a problem. Only thing that puts me off the pump is that it might be hard to get a new impellor. Will probably give it a go as I want to make a new tank dewatering pump rig that light enough for a solo worker
