The 2 we looked at on our site had roughly 1.5ton at 30 metres. One was a self erecting one like in the photo above, the other had to be built in situ more like a traditional tower crane. The problem with the self erecting one although it seems like a great idea to be able to just drive it off back of lorry and in was how much room it needs to get in when its flat.you’ve also got to consider getting it back out when theres less space because youve built the project. The self erecter also had a bigger footprint than the more traditional tower setup.How much will they lift to at full reach ??
I always wondered why we didn't have these when driving through France. Even more so now with the use of composite panels and lightweight materials.
And materials where delivered by a moffet or hiab there wouldn't be as much need for a telehandler anyway.
Plus it's painful watching most telehandler ops unload pallets of bricks.
