What is going on with FB marketplace at the moment. Absolutely every thing is a scam post for about £4000. Click on the seller and they have dozens of listings of underpriced copied posts. What’s the point and what’s the scam ?

tell me about it, my old man is looking for a 100hp-120hp Massey Ferguson preferably with dyna gearbox, so along with the usual places I keep an eye on marketplace..... I spend more time reporting scam listing of the same tractor over and over again it's ridiculous, in this modern day era you would have though that systems could be in place that could filter out listings that are almost exactly the same but in different locations and made by different people.

A mate has one very similar in his yard that came ‘at the right money’ - both final drives shat themselves in the first couple of hours of work and he’s been battling to get anywhere cost-effectively for the last 18 months…
The potential for massive bills scare me a bit tbh!
