talking to a lad from portsmouth area ,who works on drainage ,he was telling me he hires a 3ton excavator in at 150 a week

I know a chap who does all the local churches. Was telling me the stories- holes filling with water between the dig and the burial etc, trying to get a coffin to sink with the mourners at the graveside. Re-openers when loved ones get buried in the same spot. Not a job I'd be up for tbh!
I’d be quite happy with that job, customer of mine was a grave digger, wonderful stories. I’d want the electric E10 though!
My gran is buried on the farm, they had to have the petrol pump running till the hearse turned up then crack on quick with the lowering of the coffin as the grave was filling back up. New years Eve 1997. Wet week.
