Thanks, it’s a great tool on site for everything except digging in harder ground. It will do it but it’s slow and you can’t horse it out like you could in a 8tn tracked machine. This is partly because I got it second hand with the original dipper which I then put an Engcon on with scandi style digging buckets. With a short dipper and standard buckets it would be a lot better. Also driving a duck is a completely different ball game! Everything has to be done slower and steadier. If I could afford too I would keep it for everything else on site though. It’s great for moving gear with forks, sanding trenches, compacting and grading. I also have a 6tn trailer so you can load that up with material/kerbs/chambers/attachment and off you go. (Not on the road obviously)
