Exactly, & if you already have the digger & the breaker you would be mad not to get the post cup as they are ideal for replacing rotten posts in an existing fence etc.

They don’t bend very well, they are a tapered pin in a cup which if used(when used! ) off centre just breaks level with the cup top, we have tried welding to the part in the cup to pull it out, without any luck!
I’d be sticking the cup in a lathe and then drilling a hole in the centre to get a hard drift through. Heat the stub up and twat it with a drift, nothing to loose.

Drill a hole down through the broken pin till you feel it break through into the cap, part fill hole with oil, close fitting pin in hole and whack with sledgehammer
