I bet that smells nice 🙂
I stank of horse. First thing I did at home was jump in the shower.

The muck got deeper believe it or not! Really nice to have the Sherpa on some production type work for once- was really getting into the swing of it, spinning round on the spot in one smooth motion. Some fair size grabs of muck too- unbelievable what this will tackle for its size. It’s definitely the hardest she’s worked, the levers were all getting hot which has never happened before.

One barn in particular was like the boss level from Tony Hawk : Pro Skid Loader 🤣 Split levels, just enough room to move and beams just high enough to duck under.

And this aft the old girl goes to pastures new, never really like it all that much tbh but iirc it's had an alternator and a battery in 7 years of ownership so hard to argue with that.

At the start of the week we finished a retaining wall job. Not all the photos will upload but basically 130ft long, 3ft wide at the bottom, going from 4ft to 12ft tall. Back soon to backfill

What area of France are you in? I have just travelled through France from Pau to Oradour-sur-Glane then on to Calais. First time in France and my impressions were how good the roads are in condition and how tidy the country appears to be kept in comparison to England

Got most things tidied and some organisation but need some more flat ground to park stuff now a lot is home only 4 diggers and a 2 dumpers out on jobs.

Dad ruined axle on Bateson on a 5’6” width restriction with a 7’ trailer. Tried straightening it but no luck, Bateson factory only 2 miles from us and new axle in stock so bit the bullet

Groundworks mostly complete on current job, just patio to lay and lawn to soil/seed so had a Bad day fitting custom made wardrobes instead ! would help if the sides were within tolerance - should of been 600mm….

Up in the northwest - quiet rural countryside and the coastine that surrounds brittany is something else.
Don't like to criticise too much as an expat and France has got more than its share of problems but I was back in u.k in August last year and was genuinely shocked with some of the roads, not sure id want to be on the roadbike over there nowadays .....potholes that could have you in the scenery.

yep .... even the A roads are getting atrocious ... have to drive to avoid some serious ones on the 5 mile stretch into town and the town/side roads are horrendous ... just been up the A465 to take Clara to her swimming lesson and it's the only decent stretch of DC round here - bloody well should be 3 years late and 300% over budget  ... but restricted to 50MPH FFS 🤬🤬🤬

Couldn't agree more...it's a British thing to complain about potholes but this year it's beyond a joke even motorways and big A roads seem to have some horrendous sections now.
