Just had my cat 4 done as it’s got calsafe load of bolocks stops you using it after 12 months bloody ridiculous had to dig the old cat 2 out as new one was in lock out

Do you use someone local? I’ve got afew bits that need doing, would rather local to drop off than post out to them!

There was someone on here with the kit to do it themselves. They go to a survey place ATM but there are 30 to do and if they are out of calibration date you fail a site Inspection. So would be useful to keep the software on a laptop.

yes you can do it yourself.

download the cat manager software - https://www.radiodetection.com/en-gb/resources/software-downloads/cat4-manager

you have to buy a cal licence from them (£20 quid ish), the link is in the software.

You basically connect it to your pc with a usb cable and it runs a load of tests and sets the cal for another 12 months.
