Recommendations for a good digger bush/pin supplier?

TBF it wasn't for ground engaging equipment but as long as you ain't breaking the pins can it be too hard ?

was thinking more along the lines of shocking/brittleness of very hard materials, which they're likely to encounter more so, with diggers, etc..

That's where I was coming from in terms of 'how hard is too hard'

Then you would have to sheath the parts where the pins are fixed though ???

The theory is that the harder component wears faster as the grit embeds in the softer component making it abrasive.
Therefore if you make the bushes slightly softer than the pins then you will hopefully only ever have to replace pins.

You sure about this? There shouldn't be any grit in a pin and bush arrangement. I'd say if you make the bushes harder than the pins you should only have to replace pins, plus there's the danger of a pin being too brittle if super hard whereas a bush is supported by the housing.
