I would love to get buckets made up exactly the same profile as my case cx130 geith digging bucket . I Love using it . It’s 21 years old and I just had a new arse put in it and it’s lovely to use . It would be great if I could just get smaller ones made exactly the same as it to fit each of my smaller machines .

I never got that memo, so that's why I bought one.

Not put it to work yet but can't say I'm unhappy with it while playing about.

I'll update over the next week as I do give it some work.

Overall the number of jcb minis I've driven I can't fault them. The only big issue I have is those that's got the 2 touch to go shite...but that's annoying rather than it been a crap machine.

As above, don't buy Rinox. Go to Strickland, you won't be disappointed. Mine are a lovely set of buckets for a micro.

+1 on Strickland.....rinox are heavy in my experience

Get some prices from Digbits, for comparison at least. They make everything in house in the UK and could no doubt do you a bit of a deal on a few buckets sent on the same delivery. You can also spec teeth, no teeth and bladed edge with them. I cant recommend a ripper tooth enough for a micro - game changing attachment! Worth every penny and in hard ground or pulling up driveways, concrete or tree stumps, its brilliant.

Doesn't look to dissimilar in design to the Rhinox one I have. I really like the long toe and also the way the hitch is quite low profile into the bucket. I wish it had cat teeth but for £580 I'm well chuffed.

Just to update my bucket buying experience.
So thanks to responses here I now better understand micro vs mini bucket profiling and that lead me to discount Rhinox because I couldn't see any evidence (online at least) that they profile buckets for micro machines differently to those of mini machines, although I'm open to correction here.

I called Digbits for a quote, unfortunately while helpful with advice I couldn't get any discount on the prices shown online. They wouldn't even throw in a set of pins. At this point we were discussing a £500+ (ex Vat) order so I was a little surprised there was zero movement and tbh if they would have thrown in a set of pins (quoted at £24) I may have placed the order on the phone there and then. Even name dropping @Gunners didn't appear to help

I then called Strickland as they received a few votes in this thread and I've now order a 12" and a 24" bucket from them.
Compared to Digbits, Strickland were ~£50 cheaper (£349 vs £300) and they were happy to throw in a set of pins for free.

I tell ya, there'll be some muck shifting done in Kent in the next 2 -3 business days.

I wore the cutting edge of a Strickland 18” Down in a single day… 15 years later my Digbits bucket only needed teeth and some hardfaceing… I’d of spent the extra £50

I’ve used Strickland buxkets for years. Kept my first set back when I sold the Hyundai and sent the new Whites buckets from the new bobcat down the road with the old machine.

I specced bolt on edges as well as teeth for all mine. 90% of the time I’m using an edge and they’ve lasted great.

I like Strickland and BMC never had a bad bucket from either....have a heap of 1.5t buckets from rinox and digits that are too heavy built imho.

I will buck the trend, I’ve got a set of Strickland buckets, came new with my 86c. My first and last buckets from that manufacturer. I can’t speak to their longevity as some have seen little use, but the overall quality is less than impressive imo. It’s also pretty clear that they are produced by someone else and then simply have the Strickland name welded on.
I’m sure it was said long ago, that Strickland don’t manufacture their own buckets anymore? Or at least the off the shelf items are not produced by them here in the uk? Not sure if they do bespoke stuff here? Or possibly just doing the final things here, like welding blades on a tooth bucket etc ?

Either way they won’t be getting anymore of my money.

Update....the only issue so far is the shite hose as supplied by pirtek. Not been fitted that long ago either by the looks.

From operating it point of view, cannot fault it at all. Smooth hydraulics, plenty of guts and stable.

I don't get the hate for them. Mind I hate some machines that get raved about.

Anyway overall happy with it...so far.

I don't think jcbs press is deserved tbh. They have a few little oddities that make it into production but Everything I have driven from them from excavators to telehandlers have been smooth and powerful. Maybe not a favorite but I can never get the Facebook heros threatening to quit over driving them.
It's not as if their is any brand that is without fault.
