I’ve been lucky and got a few from plant auction when it was local. These were reasonably cheap, but same thing a month or so later could be double in price!

Gonna buy a new one very soon 👍🏻
My cheap HS60 is about 5 years old and done a lot of work. Not bad for a few hundred pounds. eBay dealer at Wickford supplied it 😃

Leant him this one for a few days
Love the deals being offered by Sandhills and may have a ride out to sample yer coffee ☕🤪

I am only doing the pricing to you guys its basicly cost price plus £10 or 20 quid on me bulk buying a load which i always do. So hard to compete with the likes of aldi lol

The Aldi ones seem ok, looks like a plastic belt cover, unbranded engine but otherwise ok, the lumag ones we have are bloody decent i really say that with my hand on my heart. I have sold them to local builders, councils, plant hire and even the man who did my driveway, we have sold so many and had zero and i mean zero back for anything.

i would question the compaction depth of 25cm, ours is a 20cm, loncin engine is commonly used in many aplications that said like i say never needed to worry

Once customer on a slightly bigger plate had a clutch burned out. I took one of my stock unit and fitted it for him while he waited....
Lumag distrobution are in the UK with full aftersales support.

I hired one in the end, it was a belle 12/36 pcx. It compacted the type one lovely but it's around £1000. I'm tempted because I have seen bad reviews on the cheap ones saying they don't compact as well. Has anyone else found this? Also I suspect the hav stuff is not as good on the Chinese stuff?

The HAV is awful. OK for your average front driveway (twenty minutes or so), but not much longer.

i would be intrested in feedback for our Lumags, as the handle has a split halfway down for folding i assume this may take a bit out. Never had any complaints but i do remember when i was running Southern Plant (case and terex dealer ) we also did Dynapac and their plates had the main handle with another fold out section attached via two plasticthings. it was like a second handle and took out all the HAV. However nobody used it and everybody took it off.. groundworkers would rather white finger. lol

Lumag gets my vote. Very happy with mine so far. Was working for a costumer last week who had his own vibration plate I can’t remember the make of it. I used it for half hour to compact some hardfill and my hands where in agony after. I have never had any problems like this with the lumag. 👍🏻👍🏻
