last night at 18.00 ... all tv station/radio reception went down in a huge area around here ... as too did the 999 number for emergency services - wasn't being answered ...... was not functional again until circa 06.00 today ... hacked? switched off, by persons/agencies unknown??
affected hundreds of thousands, yet have heard very little about it today and failed to find any mention of it on any news site ?????????

It was reported in the news earlier in the week that the 999 system went down across good part of the Midlands and Yorkshire for several hours.
I believe it was on the BBC news website.
Makes you wonder if there is an active hacker playing havoc with communications.
