Digging a service track this morning, it’s not often I get to dig ground like this 👌🏻
I know what you mean with the ground conditions , I seem to be forever guddling about in clay . Been at Kinloss recently so that was a nice change in ground conditions

Last seen 10th Jan...maybe gunners finished him off for his backhoe comments...failing that an angry takeuchi ..
:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: Gaz and I chat outside of here, he's ok, just felt a bit ganged up on at times but sort of understands why. I think it was @Giles who really put him to rights with the car park recycled sub base if I recall?
@JD450A Rory, you cant talk, you're hair is just as unrulely as mine and you know it!
@Furniss That WN looks spot on on that new lorry of yours. Jealous of that setup and its going to be great when you get to grips with the soon to be tilty too - you'll wonder why it took you so long 😁

Yes I’m happy with it so far, I’ve never had a duck before though so it might be crap 😂 It was brand new, got 600 hours on the clock now.
Wow jim that would have been a big purchase especially not having had one before , bit of a leap of faith ! Did you have work lined up for it ?
I do like the look of these 10t class ducks yanmar make one as well but current price is 130K 🤯

I’ve had a full time hire for a few years now with the same company so it was bought to replace my 3CX.
The Yanmar does look a nice machine but they’re nowhere near competitive with the price. I see Hitachi have one on the go now as well, looks very similar to the Doosan.

Hope Hitachi put a decent cab on it. Couldn't imagine fitting a steering wheel into the 85usb cab.

Surprised it’s taken so long considering how popular liquid screeds are now. Is that Rightflow doing the pumping?

That’s a beast! But in reality far too big for most small building sites!
Surprised you didn’t have Cempump given they are only around the corner from you?

Like they give a sod. Will be parked on the road outside. Causing chaos like the scaffolding lorries do

I know a few of the guys at Volmix so use them normally for concrete. As it was my first time doing floors etc I used Rightflow as they specced and did the whole job subfloor, insulation, membrane and finish screed. I just laid the underfloor setup.

I’m working in Banchory just now, been there a few months.

Aye it’s my duck, I’ve had it since November,
Looks a nice set up, va boom and swampers. Having started with a power tilt and changed to a tilt rotator, the tilt rotator is worth the extra money.
Do you have a blade tray to carry stuff? Again a very worthwhile investment for a duck.
