Windscreen re seal

Had a leak in the new whip drivers side bottom of dash. Cleaned out some leaves from drains at bottom wasn't that. Been experimenting with the hose today all around different parts from bottom up and only leaks when I put hose in top corner. Im guessing from this its the windscreen seal? Original screen in atm. Been quoted 80 for reseal or 140 if screen breaks when removing. Im covered on insurance 100 for replacement but probably just go with this crowd on tuesday. Person who sold it has offered to contribute tbf, says they never noticed.

Im not missing a trick here? Unlikely to be anything else?

I taped the top corner with duct tape yesterday and its not leaked all day even with few heavy showers. Crazy. Booked in for tomorrow
