What's people's opinions of the doosan dx27.

I'm talking about the pre bobcat version.

I'm off to look at 4 tomorrow.
Pretty sure someone on here had 1 or had used 1 but did not like it. Not sure if same model mind!

Well having looked at them there 4k and the vat difference between the cheapest and nicest.

I wanted to spend the cheaper end price but now driving the better ones it's giving me some extra thought of which way to go.

From my memory they were very well thought of but thought I'd best ask a question
It was me asking previously 🙈😄

a mate has one his has the longer dipper, seems a decent little machine a bit tight in the cab i thought, was a bit uncomfortable to spend the whole day in but it performed ok he has had no issues i know about, probably with standard dipper it would dig a little bit better than the long one dug some deep foundations in heavy clay with it and really found nothing bad with it at all, i only found it a bit uncomfortable due to having arthritis in my hips and shoulders, it seemed very good on fuel and was smooth to use.

Not been on one, but would imagine the paint is piss poor the same as bobcat. My dx10 is just starting to shed paint now

I don't think these are the longer dipper, either that or the dx19 a spoiled my expectations of a bigger machine 😜.

his is defo a dx27zero tailswing, the longer dipper obviously gains reach and depth but its harder to clean right up to the blade with. the geometry is just a bit off. i never found anything to not like the machine if i was younger and a bit more flexible i would say nothing wrong at all with it, the only thing thats been a problem was fuel filter blocking but he uses old jerry cans to carry and fill with so not 100% clean fuel all the time, that his problem i would say not the machine.
