We returned to a new build yesterday where we had installed all the drainage, only to find the doesy landscapers had took a micro down the side of the house, not only smashing the Chambers and gullys to bits but also destroying his nice new windows and wedging it nicely against the building.

A service I'd of provided but no its cheaper to let landscapers loose on a hired in micro 🤔😜

Is that just a spirit level slightly offset or can you adjust the falls??
Pipe level best thing I’ve bought for drainage but now sold out everywhere, has 4 stops 1:40, 1:60, 1:80, 1:100 put it on pipe with arrow with fall boom.

I did a big house 60m drains 16 Ics to get rd 3 sides I was only 5mm out on invert to tank when checked with total station

So simple, what a brilliant idea! Even builders would be able to work that out I reckon!

That's neat I want one. Currently I have a set of levels with 3 lines each side of the bubble. Level min fall, max fall. But I don't know how accurate they are.
Or I set the invert of of both ends and then manually set the grade on the laser.
I actually really enjoy drainage but I find most people just want to lay to turn of a bubble and get really stroppy about doing it properly

How do you dig your trench though ? if you dig your trench to grade then an even bedding layer of gravel of say 2cm and only check at end with laser.

It’s a handy additional tool to have for sure, fool proof way of getting it right everytime.

I always seem to end up working between 2 points so figure the heights / falls out and punch it into the laser and just work to that.

Dig trench by eye on slightly deeper side gravel then lift pipe in gravel to grade if not steep enough then unfortunately it’s shovel if can’t get back in.

have used laser before etc but then ppl get too concerned over mm etc this just works well and fast. Don’t use my pipe laser anymore unless on big run of big pipe

Done the block on the level before as well but seen lads have it wrong way Rd lol 😂

Done duel grade etc but takes time etc if going rd building got to move laser etc this just works was only 50 quid can be left on site or in digger thrown in trench does top water as well just by moving it.

I’ll take Pepsi challenge with anyone 2 runs of pipe foul and top into an ic etc be 3x quicker with pipe level vs laser only comparable would be 2 levels with different blocks
