I love the 36v Makita groundsaw. Only issue is I sometimes run it out of bar oil as am used to topping up when refuelling.
Weāve got a bit of Husky electric gear and itās pretty good, but have had an issue with an expensive battery charger failing (they replaced it in fairness, but only because I got lucky with a Husky rep) and an electric long reach hedgecutter gearbox shat itself after doing very little work. Iām not convinced how good the quality of the stuff is really.
Looked at the Stihl kit, itās ok but a big investment to get set up properly (a couple of saws/few batteries/charger or two etc) and Iām not convinced itās worth the money.
The Makita stuff is more than good enough for any use where an electric saw is the answer - you still need petrol kit for any prolonged use or of a decent size.
