Do the KX57 and U55 share the same cab ?
We do similar. Everedge is good, but the pin lengths can be insufficient.Been slow on updating my thread. So throwback to a job from late September. New driveway as part of a much larger landscaping job. Had to do a bit of cut and fill to make the levels work so the Kubota 5t was brought in. Shame I didn't own the backhoe then - would have been great here.
Edgings are 6x200mm steel welded to pins on site. Its the best way we have found to do steel edging. Backed up with serious haunching to keep the edge in place - you only see the top when the finished drive is in! Expensive way to achieve the infinity edge look....

Did you just choke the posts to lift into position? Then it was back to school for tennis court floodlights. I knew this job was going to happen so had installed a duct under all that paving I did last year ready for it. Had to dig where each column went but otherwise minimal disruption. 10m long columns were a bit of a handful to install and as each court can be lit individually - there was a complicated cabling scheme with a rather fag packed drawing. Obviously got it right because yesterday it was finally commissioned!
You only need the strap them about a 3rd the way up.Did you just choke the posts to lift into position?
We are waiting on a tender being opened for around 80 to install, I'll get the extended jib for the avant if successful
These are 6m but 114mm posts as solar lights on top so a bit more meat in themYou only need the strap them about a 3rd the way up.
If they are only 4 or 5m columns you don't even need to bother with lifting them with machine or hiab just 2 of you can do it really easy.
use a 1t/purple endless sling ... they choke better than a webbing sling will at that size of liftDid you just choke the posts to lift into position?

Have to be careful as h&s monitoringYou will safely pitch then with a minidigger tbh.
So the first few I used the 3cx as 1. I had it and 2. I thought they would be a lot more awkward than they actually were. There was a couple that I couldnt get to with the 3cx so used the 3t with a sling over the back of the bucket. Wasnt too bad actually but you were right on the limit of what you could lift.Did you just choke the posts to lift into position?

Why did you not sleeve them. Absolute peice of cake then. And you not rushing about to worrying that they've movedSo the first few I used the 3cx as 1. I had it and 2. What it really wants is a timber grab with something to protect the post. Be a one man operation virtually then.
The streetlights Ive just finished are 5m posts, all put in by hand. Not actually too bad a job.
Rapid set concrete is your friend with this job though! And a magnetic boat level.
I was thinking either the fixed or telescopic 1 of these https://avantequipment.com.au/wp-content/uploads/avant_telescoping_jib_boom_2.jpg.So the first few I used the 3cx as 1. I had it and 2.
