terex hd 1000 post big freeze , water into sump !

All, started up the dumper saturday , started fine, then was over heating , checked radiator , empty , topped it up and water went straight into sump .
Other than cracked block , anything else it can be ? also whats the chance if it is the blocck I can weld repair the kubota block ? thanks all alan c

if not the block what else can I check for , may thanks

head gasket or liner seals if the kubota engine uses liners?

It’s what I do!
Remove rocker cover, let’s have a look! Some kubota engines have two tiny core plugs under the rocker shaft. With the rad cap off and running is there lots of steam?
