Anyone got anything particular planned for 2023?
Decent jobs coming up?
Machine orders in the pipeline?
Head down , crack on hoping nothing much changes?
I have a string on planning apps currently in the que, and afew more to go in, so it can swing one way or another for us!

Staying alive for another year would be a the ideal goal for next year. That aside I actually feel my business has reached a certain level of stagnation. No real desire to expand and take on the world like Gunners and even though still enjoy the work I wouldn't say it's particularly challenges me like the early days. So be nice to think of some way of stimulating fresh excitement into the business....

2023…

Learn to say no, and be more selective on the jobs I want to do instead of trying to keep everyone happy. Would like a newer slightly bigger van but can’t currently justify the cost to change. Fancy adding a roller and maybe a 1.9t to the fleet but will see what happens with prices after xmas.

I do a lot less nowadays. Mortgage is paid off all my old tackle is owned. Why work your #ock off all your working life. It's time thats precious not money.😁 don't get me wrong when we get the next big concreteing job, I'll be all over it. Work to live not live to work 🤣

I think most of us run into this period of "stagnation" when that initial stage of amassing kit and learning is over but tbf there is always something to improve/work on.

Too true. I still take pride in work and get satisfaction out of a happy customer. I think if it gets to the point where you can't be arsed to do a decent job anymore thats the time to throw the towel in.
