Do prices ever come down though? Be interesting if there are financial problems ahead whether they have to sharpen their pencils a bit. Wonder what kind of people are spending that kind of money on a tipper. Certainly wouldn't add up for me.

When you Google nugent engineering it takes you to the nugent engineering website which is part of the trailer sales/manufacturing company. Wonder if its a case of same name or slightly different as I'm sure it said nugent engineering.

I don't think prices will come down much tbh. End of the day second hand values go up with new so if you already have a trailer it's not as bad and if you don't have a trailer already tough.
I think my tb290 is 10k more now than when i got it 2 years ago, it is what it is.

The Nugent's ive seen look really well built. Quite heavy I imagine but better put together than an ifor I reckon. Although the ifor plant is a cracking trailer

I’ve no doubt that there’s major profiteering going on, but the cost of manufacturing can’t be overlooked. Steel price will be a significant part of the price increase. But I agree, some of them are seriously taking the pi$$

It's not that long back they were near on buying most of the trailer off ifor and assembling it themselves. They were then regarded as buying a better put together ifor so they'll probably know what needed to be better.

5kg heavier according to the spec sheets, on a base trailer. I couldn't find a weight for the ifor drop sides, nugent do at 132kg for the set I would guess a bit heavier again as they feel a bit stronger.

Briefly.... every stand hand some sort of EV on it.
There's not alot of the EV stuff that impresses me yet..... not saying it won't come.... but its a long way off

Companies aren’t looking for a step change, just for their EV products to match IC performance, which in the main they do, apart from battery life and initial cost. I’ve had time on an electric 320 and it was no different to a diesel from the seat, apart from the noise.

well if you say a tonne of steel has trebled - that'd add 1200 quid say ...... galving has probably gone ballistic, as has leccy .. distribution transport ditto, wages're probably the only thing that hasn't gone nuts, ......... but seriously?
