So do wind which is the enemy. Personally don't use one but know a few lads who do a lot this time of year. One lad got one off a market trader which he says is a lot better
Couldn't use it all the time but could be handy for sticking over pits etc and leaving tools under. The weather here today has been a nightmare again

Also use it quite often for leisure. I wouldn't leave mine up over night because of the wind. If you anker them down well, they are very good. Also use it for shade

I had one once, ended up ontop of the scaffolding one windy day!
Our joiners use one, handy to have the chopsaw set up under and all chargers etc.
By time I’ve been rained off, bothered to look for one online the sun has come out again and I’ve forgotten about getting wet earlier that day!

Rock awnings only way to go, have got some 10kg weights we strap it to now. Mates who are wallers had one years now still going strong proper thick frame on them. Was about £190 for 3x3, no comparison to the cheapo ones made out of 12mm 1mm pipe this is all box section.

I got the explorer

I tried using one years ago, but they're far from perfect. Whatever is under there still gets wet to some degree as water splashes up, drizzle and fog drift in and rain blows in if it's windy.

We use a vaunt one easy to pop up and put down. Does the job when need to set saw up or just somewhere to stand out of rain when really nails it down. We use it in summer aswell for a bit of shade if theres space.
