That was the only one taken that day with Maxi and that was by me I put it on a forum years ago and I have seen it on a book cover about China clay and put on by other people as theirs on forums Heres the original with two others I took that dayI have the same photo BobI have seen others of the same machine from a different angle.

It's called Cholwichtown Farm it's mentioned in the Doomsday book . We moved out in 2017 after my dad passed away in 2016 and mum didn't want to stay there.

Awesome photos. Been driving round the bottom of them since I was a little kid in the 80s. Never fail to impress. Biggest man made thing I've ever seen I think?
We got to run round some of the normally closed sections of Imerys in St Austell for the marathon this year, which was pretty unique. Some interesting kit.

Brought back some memories of ECC. Back in the day they also owned a company in Swindon that was called Bradley’s. I think they had some building material divisions, along with a property development company, Bradley Estates.
Working as a trainee QS for a groundwork’s company, it was where I first learned about excavators. We often carried out work for Bradley Estates back then, they where regarded as a top end developer. It was several years later that I had moved into working for a developer that I was involved in buying several of the sites they owned as they wound up the development side, which I think was after ECC was either

The Cornish units where built all over the place by various building companies as far as I am aware. Prefabricated with a design life of 10 years. Beware what is done as a temporary solution!!

Thats one of Wyatts 631s I went down Lee Moor with others to drive 4 631s up to Cockermouth and lowloader took D8 in police convoy to Plymouth Don't recognise the man getting into cab

,that photo was taken off site where all plant was left ready to go so could have been anybody we never use to take keys out so anybody could have started up and had a drive

think Cornish was the designer's name ...... lot of 'em round here that have had all sorts of remedial works carried out to them .. support structures rotting out
bottoms gone off these columns ... outer skin holding it all up .... BIL's mate's place

lot of the local LA houses have had their lower skins replaced with brickwork as they were collapsing
