More of the 801,
The picture of the plywood is the mould to make a new roof.
Hopefully out of fibreglass, don’t hold your breat, I’ve not done fibreglass before.

Well, latest thing to be done on the little 801,
I put 3new glow/heater plugs in.
After checking all the old one on the bench,
Turns out only one of the old ones was working and the nut was loose on that one.
The other 2 , one did nothing at all , the other one shorted out straight away.
Now the new ones are in. She starts straight up.
After 4 years of pissing about with it, it never even crossed my mind that the glow plugs would be the problem.
Silly things you over look and do obvious as well.

And on top of that a friend popped over to see me and confirmed that the tracks are to tight and making it judder so much.
That’s the next job to do on her, not for a few weeks now tho.

I still reckon the idler bearings are gone on that side 😢
