Sgs seem fine. Everything is made in china unless you spend mega money. How many cfm do you need?

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
was gonna say 14-15 CFM'd be about the limit on a 3hp single phase ... get above that and motors get large and expensive ..... could always run two in tandem and plumb in a few extra tanks (47kg propanes make ideal tanks - tested way beyond 150psi 
) ... just plug 'em into your line and if you just want a quick blast, run one and isolate all your extras .. (second unit and tanks)

SGS belt drive. Quieter and runs higher pressure than direct drive, which means when you meter it off with a regulator theres more stored air.

I should have said I’ve got 240v 32amp available. But yes I guess around 15cmf will be it? Been a long while since I looked into one to get honest.
I remember there was a reasonably local place used to make up whatever you wanted, compressor wise, good old cast iron pumps etc, but buggered if I can remember their name.

I piped up a friends HGV garage in 1/2” iron pipe. Plenty of tees with pcl connectors to reduce the need for hoses running all over the place. I did a small oversize section of flexible hose from the compressor to rigid pipework to help reduce vibration and allow easy replacement of compressor if required. You can get John guest pushfit plastic airline if you wanted a less heavy duty setup that’s easier to install.

Worth noting, the larger the bore of your distribution pipework helps to increase the stored volume of air. Just saying. That spare 3" pipe we run round our workshop helps the capacity of the receiver

I had a 2" nom bore main around my old w/shop at high level (the compressor lived on a bracket high up out the way, with a 1" hyd. flexi connecting it to the manifold/main), with 1" droppers every other bay and a 2" dropper on the centre wall to a 2" manifold along that, with PCLs tee-ed out of it ... gave a decent increase in volume, over just the tank on the 3 stage Ingersol

I got this one as per @V8Druid recommendation, good compressor!
I just got a dedicated 32a typeC breaker put on a 32a socket(use for welder as well then), was blowing other breakers before that.

It's usually the curve rather than the amperage that throws the breaker. Type C may only be a few milliseconds longer, but it'll feel like eternity if your welder casing goes live whilst you are touching it...
