My cousin’s wife’s family put one of these in the garden of their chalet in Morzine and were told by (and believed!) the snake-oil salesman that it would be feasible to keep it heated year round at 30 deg C WITHOUT A COVER!!!

They sold the idea to their forward-booking guests and have spent thousands of pounds on gas this winter…
