Yes it would but alas cast steel

Had a little nibble on friday
two pieces off the front (well the middle really) and dragged to one side (weigh at a guess 10 tons each)

and one off the back (or stern for you nautical types)

too heavy for me to lift out of the water while I have the grab on
and cut the propeller off while I had a bit of oxy left (8” shaft)

oh and them black brick type things are blocks of steel and no concrete was harmed in any way shape or form

but talking of magnets got the little on working on the komogsu maybe it should be called a komagsu now

not sure how heavy that beam is but two of us just about lifts it 203 uc 6m long

I’m cutting the biggest pieces I can get on my low loader, so 8’ sections but doing it with the shear makes quite a bit of smaller pieces that I’ll throw into the bin
Im only a couple of miles from the yard but have to drive through the middle of town

That little piece of steel doesn’t look very heavy, I guess the poem must be right -

well the lightest it can be is 46kg/m ... so minimum 276 kgs .... must have had yer weetabix
