Looks expensive to me. I'm getting better rates from my local hire company? He will be charging delivery and no doubt insurance on top of these rates I'd guess too. Unfortunately its where the self drive market is, almost makes you think twice about owning a machine unless you use it more than two weeks/ month

three words .. Wealthy farmer's son.

couple of decades ago LA wanted to build a new crem. ... couldn't acquire a site so leased ground off said farmer .. built new crem. .... he gets a % fee off every burning ... doesn't need to work, aside from the rental income. :(

booked solid for weeks in advance

I've seen the way ppl treat hired kit .... dunno HTF anyone can bear to put out new gear, let alone s/hand to any mong and his dog, to abuse, for what is essentially a pittance
Dale is gonna be well pissed off after a few of the wrong hires, specially once they've had it over, broken a few windows and taken all the paint off its arse

People are dying to get in there,Years ago my mate got a job grave digging he used to tell everyone that he worked in the dead centre of town and had alot of people under him! True story!
know a guy who has a very similar genetic condition to my Gaucher's and it's what he does for a living ... digs holes in grave yards - always busy

I know a chap who does all the local churches. Was telling me the stories- holes filling with water between the dig and the burial etc, trying to get a coffin to sink with the mourners at the graveside. Re-openers when loved ones get buried in the same spot. Not a job I'd be up for tbh!

As for plant hire. I agree, can't see the fun in sending out gear at a pittance only for it to be abused. Even if I had 10 diggers as a solo user id still sooner them nicely tucked up In bed ready waiting for their turn with me rather then pimp them out.

Tried it for a while, last hire had a £800 repair bill, never again! Customer paid up thankfully!
