Hi All, Just a quick line to intorduce myself. I'm Gordo and I have just returned to the Uk after a 5 years working as a op in Ras al Khaimah. Now part-time back on the family farm to help out my folks. We have a load of older machines that I need to get back up running proper and I found you guys. Looking to wise words of advice. Thanks

Hi Giles It was mainly civils. RAK is growing its infrastructure at a rapid rate. The key to working there is flexbility so I could find myself on a d9 or a ec300dl one day and then grading with a volvo g940 the next. It was hard work and good money but i am glad i am away from it now.

Hi Mick, The 3 old machines on the farm that are a concern to me are a 1993 john deere 630, a 2005 801.4 jcb mini and 1987/88 3cx. All are still running but will need some tlc in the winter to get some extra life out of them. thanks

Yeah no probs I can do that in the down season. Not keen on posting pics to the public. We have been targetted twice in the last 6 years and lost some good kit after pics appearing on social media. Sorry not too familar with how this works how can I send them in private?

Maybe just find a pic on stock photos or dealer website! Just so we have a clue

Fyi turn of location on your phone/camera. Works wonders.

They didn't do a John Deere 630 so I'm guessing you meant 6300? Good bus really, much better than the 50 series they replaced.
