so had to let him have it ........ for five hundred quid FFS the pair of legs in the jeans is me neighbour dancing a jig ... after we'd had 'a conversation' and I'd bowed out for him
and he'd stolen it 20 KVA, P3 Perky, 440/220V
He still hasn't done anything with it
... was talking to him about it last week

I liked the superwinch on my old defender for off road days, worm driven if I remember correctly, very sturdy but really slow. I see more Warns nowadays, probably due to the speed bonus....Nice thing about the superwinches is they are good for descending due to the slow controlled way they operate....but good luck getting that worm drive replaced or re-manufactured if it ever breaks

I have a T-Max winch, but it's not kept on the truck these days, sits on a demountable tray.

Best way to have them. They are flashing red lights to the thieves. The last superwinch I went to buy off gumtree was shown to me by the wife of the house and the mount tray was bent up in a U shape like it had been crow barred off the vehicle, even at the cheap as chips price I walked away from that one, it was too dodgy. Serial number filed off as well....
