Hi

A friend of mine has a U27 and basicly he got out of it one lunch time, got in it afterwards and it wouldnt move. It would also start with the lever up or down (usually dont start down)

so he messed about with the switch to no real avail. then it randomly started to move but only with the arm up.

any suggestions at all? possible wiring fault somewhere in the arm? it does have a engcon with joysticks so somebody has been there before

cheers

The dead man switch will go through a relay, which could be the issue!
Always something or nothing, I was forever going relays on older machines, just swap them around with other matching relays to see if it kicks in 👍🏼

I had a diode melt on a steelwrist setup but that just isolated the steelwrist while the rest of the machine worked.

I'd suspect a broken wire or a wet switch I'd surgest shorting the switch and seeing if there's any difference then doing the same again at the solonoid valve if there's no change and report back
