tonights job cutting 5000m2 of grass with a push mower that hasnt been started for 10 years while I wait for bits for my ride on 🤦
Although it started 3rd pull after putting fuel in ,the bloody thing runs exactly like it did before 😡 you have to keep giving it à few presses of priming bulb thing to keep it going 🤔 cleaned carb out and air filter but just same ....after about 1/2 of messing it sort of starts to run without priming it, but not very well🤷
Whats the problem ? anyone any sensible ideas ?

The JD ride on mower was acting up last month, took carb off to clean it and of course the gaskets fall to bits, check online for a gasket kit, 15 quid or something, or 19 for a whole new carb on amazon. Bought the replacement carb and its so far been fine. I don't even think its worth messing about with them these days for the cost.

1.2 acres is a tad excessive ... and deffo not a push along job ... Kev needs a Dane for 14mph mowing in 5ft strips :giggle:
if he has any obstacles, you won't better a zero turn for mowing round 'em

We have a countax which has been fine time now and will prob buy something with an out front deck or zéro turn although it seemed à bit extravagant to just scrap the countax so have ordered à shell/blades etc to sort it, anyhow I kind of enjoy making do ....reminds me of when we came here with nowt and cut it all with a strimmer 🙂
