I had some yew, probably 18" wide and sawn to 2" thick. Struggled to find buyers for 6' long slabs at £40 a slab six years ago. Did a bit recently on my own mill that a tree surgeon buddy brought over, and have got some more to do.

New job started this week. (So much going on and only took 3 pics 
) First job was to rip the hedge out and pipe the sheugh running down the side of the road. Then stripped soil off and piled up at back of the site. Then started the reduce dig and shaping the banks. Had to hire my mates 312c as my cx80 hasn’t arrived yet.

I have that cast base that a few planks would look good on.
£40 a slab 6 years ago ....heck got to be £100 each now

yeh weather's been a PITA this weekA bit of fabrication today, tis good to be out of the weather, not easy get the PPE right when it goes from roasting to soaked in the blink of the eye
