2 weeks grace on payment and they usually are cheaper than pump. These fuel card prices sound the same as pump prices ? What’s the point
had them on the phone today ,saying your not buying much ,i said at those prices i cant afford toI know for a fact that UK Fuels (and undoubtedly others) will charge individual accounts as much as they can get away with - no two accounts will be offered the same rates.
They are all bandits if not watched…
Normally they are a bit less than the pump, not always sometimes supermarkets are cheaper, but if buying it out on the road in services/motorways, pretty much always cheaper. These fuel card prices sound the same as pump prices ? What’s the point
metal jerry or now't on a forecourt .... re-using an empty TFR can doesn't cut itGarage today was refusing a guy trying to fill his 20l can with white for his mini digger as it was not a “approved” can. Not sure how approved is defined, but he only got a few litres into it before they cut the pump off.

What size tank you got ?Who still thinks I’m mad for having my own white diesel tank??
You lot were all like “ooh, it’ll get nicked! Wouldn’t want the stress!”
Well the contents is worth less than the grab/rotator sitting next to it. I don’t stress about anything diesel related (until it’s time to order a delivery!) I haven’t dealt with retards in petrol stations for years, throughout COVID, shortages and now this bullshit!
2300l of white and 1200l for red. What size tank you got ?
When (if) we go to white next year I plan to fill red tank with white and use it for everything if I can get white at sensible money as its only a 1500l tank.
Save buggering about at pumps and fill the lot from there as well as motors from home .... one receipt.
Agreed got to be worth a few pence a liter for the convenience.2300l of white and 1200l for red.
You can't get deliveries at sensible money still, but 5p/l more than the fuelcard is fine by me to not have to deal with retards, covid zealots and shortages/lemming queues. If you employ, it saves even more time- no skiving off to the garage to fill up.
I asked local haulier who runs out of quarry i get most agg from has a dozen 8 wheelers and he says during normal circumstances fuel cards usually cheaper than bulk deliveries into your own tank (maybe be different if getting a full tanker load) but the convenience outweighs the cost. He uses mixture of both card and own tank depending on which direction wagons are heading from yard2300l of white and 1200l for red.

You wouldn't want to be paying for 100k litres nowI used to buy close on 100,000 ltrs a month at one time ... and it was always, min. 10p/l less than local garages ... and undercut them by 5p/l ... hence shifting 100,000 a month ..... then a supermarket moved into town with a forecourt and undercut me ... end of bulk DERV buying/selling as a sideline... did alright over many years doing it though
