Hi everyone, thanks for accepting me into the forum. I have a small holding with various bits of plant to assist me with life outside. I have hydraulic issues on my dumper truck but I don’t have any idea on its age, make/model and load weight. Would appreciate any pointers members could give me, first thing I need is a new hydraulic filter and removal instructions
Thanks in anticipation

Welcome, looks like an benford to me , Rory @JD450A our resident dumper expert will be along to ID it for you.
The filter looks to be a standard suction filter. un-screw it a measure the threads size, if you can wait a couple of day flowfit online would be a good shout to get one.

FFS Why can't I get this kind of luck, 8 quid. Hydraulic filter on my first digger was £130 🙄
:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: ...... return on the 'Drema's over 150 quid, last time I bought one :(

you can see the steering ram in the third pic ... @Examiner can you show us with a pic please .. might help in identifying it conclusively ..... are you saying the rear axle is a rocker Rory .... Thwaites Alligator's whole rear end subframe rocked - engine, g/box, etc., under the driver's deck and only pivoted horizontally

Can’t thank everyone enough for your input on this, think I’ve leant more about the beast in the last few hours than I could ever have hoped to. Excuse my non tech description but I think picture 2 shows the pivot point, in my mind it’s the front tub unit which allows the lateral movement, the back axle

not a pendle/rocking axle then ... big pivot pin in front of the body articulation

Sounds like that’s the setup, eventually got the old filter off, just trying to match it up with Flowfit as there’s no markings on the old unit

I thought back axle looked bolted to chassis on first pics and not much room under mudguards for axle to articulate

I think jd meant as opposed to this type of joint where both ends of the top bar pivot
