Now I can post pictures though I start a haulage thread

This was one I did last weekend what a job getting in on the trailer had a bucket as a fuel tank with the pipes extended and dropped in and both back tyres slack, oh and that low on hydraulic oil could barely steer it but anyone how has ever loaded one will know the front gets airborne on the way up the ramps, and passing down with rain

Delivered my old 860 to a forum member had to reverse blind side into a lane to unload which had a row of sharp rocks to keep you of the grass

One of Blue machinery’s trommels only a small one with a 6 meter drum heading to Norfolk

Would of looked a bit lost on my 45’ trailer so lifted this little screener on the truck and went across to York, again one of Blues jobs

Paul your 2nd steer/drive axle is in the wrong place ?

haven't seen an 860 Volvo for years that was the fist large plant i drove back in the 80 es for RM PENNY down in somerset

This was the second truck I owned with the third trailer, I fitted the crane on my homemade subframe which also had rear stabilisers but the crane didn’t have remote control so was a pain to load stuff by yourself

A couple of months ago Allelys had both 1000,s and the 100 on the Isle of White to lift a catermaran into the water and I took 1 of the jibs down, the whole set up took nearly a month to do from getting things ready in Allelys yard to landing on the dockyard on the IOW to doing the lift to getting back home. The actual lift took 30mins

Paul your 2nd steer/drive axle is in the wrong place ?

Second steer in the right placethe rear axle is set back 2’ so can get deep pin trailers, makes getting into tight places with the low loader on fun

a long time ago these were, the 1st tractor unit I had with Allelys was F425 VUY it was a 380 flat cabbed 95 look at all the flags in the window I was so cool, then I moved into F568 FNX which again a flat cabbed 95 but it was a 80 tonner and I had a2nd man with me all the time

Used to drive a 95 had a zip up wardrobe behind the drivers seat and a funky lifty twisty collar on the gear shifter for hi/low/split

Driver still speaks fondly of it after all these years, says the Cummings engine pulled like a train loved to be loaded heavy.

Been to this show twice now in Amsterdam-Duivendrecht a cracking show only on for one day in October normally fly over in the morning get an Uber to the show then there is a train station 10 min walk takes you back to Amsterdam center have a night out there, bit of window shopping then fly home the next day
