I am trying to sort out the wiring on my grey cab 3cx. What's circled in red was earthed. The rest of these were just hanging loose. Like this since I bought it. Can anyone help me identify what these are and where they should be connected?

think you'll find they're all earths and should almost certainly go to the earth point on the starter body as an earth pole/point
Thanks. I think the starter isn't OEM. Would love to see a photo of how it should be wired. My knowledge isn't super and id actually get someone to sort it but not many guys around that do this type of stuff. Everyone just goes for the "quickest fix to get you going" kinda route rather than actually properly sorting it and then this is the reason these machines end up in such a mess it seems.

Mine is nearly ten years newer and is now fitted with a Mahle reduction drive starter (definitely not OEM!).
It's common (but not universal) for lucas starters to have an earth stud off the end plate

If your starter doesn't have this convenience, then bringing all the blacks together and crimping into a 3/8" cable lug would allow you to bolt it up under one one of the starter mounting bolts.
