I skipped maybe a couple of dozen or more similar wire lifting slings, when I cleared my yard and some 16, 24 & 32 ton chains ... all cert.ed and tested .. couldn't give 'em away ... that looks to be a towing hawser ... can't see any test tag on it, just a label .... kept a couple of smaller ones for security cables ... take a bit of cutting through ....... unless you have a battery disc cutter in yer pocket

all went out the yard in 40 yarders at 180 a tonne across the board including some pretty expensive (but BIG) chain brothers and circa 1/2 to 3/4 t of 4&5MT drills

huge yard ... dare say a lot went un-noticed TBH James ... some of it broke my heart

he did get a privileged first scavenge on one small portion ..... and ran out of hands

Yes I did but way too late for the good stuff
the main problem would of been storing all the ‘scrap’ transport would of been easy
