The only good of all this is that rates are (currently at least) creeping up a bit.
There's plenty out there trying to take the pi** that's for sure. Mind there's a few mugs out there as well which long term doesn't help the rest of us.There is a ‘ex demo’ dx10 with 400 hours on eBay currently for £17k.

servo controls / direct sticks .......Excuse my ignorance but people are saying to go for a mini digger with servo controls and avoid ones that don't have them.
What are servo controls? What is so bad about not having them?
I've tried googling it but there isn't clear info. I don't know much about diggers I have just started researching them.
Non servo controls are directly connected to the digger hydraulic valves, Servo controls use low pressure oil to control the main hydraulic valves, to control the machine. Main advantage is easier to position the servo levers in a comfortable position, lighter in operation, needs less movement, and less parts to wear and go sloppy when older.Excuse my ignorance but people are saying to go for a mini digger with servo controls and avoid ones that don't have them.
