Welding rods

Anybody used Gemini rods?
I'm working my way through a pack of 2.5mm 13's , they seem ok, but I need some hard facing rods.
I've ordered a pack of H600B (high abrasion, moderate impact) for wear surfaces.
The alloy should be fine, but the fumes off some rods can be evil (and I don't have a ventilated mask).

Any opinions?

the fumes off all rods are evil. Get an airflow welding helmet, they aren’t that much in the grand scheme. As for the rods, never seen them over here. Do they meet a standard?

They claim DIN 8555 E2-UM-55 which matches the application description

A better mask is on the shopping list. I don't know what you pay, they are over gbp1000 in Oz. I normally work outside, so the concentration of fumes is relatively low, but still ...
