I paid 270 for some 150x150x5 box. No off cuts so full length of 3.75m. Used 600mm of it. What can you do other than pass the bill on

Found a company in Liverpool, 240 inc vat delivered within 2 days, not too bad, obviously still very expensive 20kg of metal

That's Inc vat. But in this instance cust was paying and it was a damage repair job so they can't escape the cost.

Got another job for them and some pre bought 1.5m lengths of 50x50x3 was £82 Inc delivery. That's galvanised. ☹
