hi all from this sad old git,
I been lookin at yer site today so thought I’d give you boys a try
I have a hydraulic problem with me digger. I was diggin out a bloody great tree stump today when the hydraulic pressure started to drop and ram was struggling to lift the boom up, machine was hot!, no oil leaks and hydraulic tank full.. I was thinking that maybe I should of changed the hydraulic oil ! Engine clock shows 1800 hours and hydraulic oil not ever been changed (could it have gone thin)
Also it won’t turn much when goin along, but will spin around when not movin .
Any advise from you fellers as to what’s wrong with ii and how I can to fix it would be magic
Or maybe a plant fitter in east Dorset who can sort it

had you 'stalled' the hydraulics by any chance .. as in giving it all and it wasn't managing to do what you wanted? .... may have blown the main PRV (pressure relief valve) and it's not seated back properly (poss. some crud stopping it seating).

as for the slew whilst tracking ... the tracking motors're greedy sods for oil ... nothing much is gonna function while feeding them fluid
