Volvo ec 27 digger problem

Hi all
New to group
I have a ec27 Volvo mini digger which has just started doing the strangest of things .
It seems to be creating a elec pulse clicking noise when ignition is on ( not trying to start !) it will start fine tho then it seems to send a pulse through the hydraulics making then like they’re on /off on / off !!.. it even sends a pulse through the hydraulic pipes when the machine is not running but the safety arm is down in the active position .. sometimes it goes ok for about 5 mins then returns for hours even when ignition is just on but no engine or hydraulic s running ???. I’ve unplugged most things all sensors relays etc but unable to locate it s fault ..and it makes no difference unless I totally cut the power .by pulling a fuse .???..
any ideas anyone ???.. it’s baffled me for days now !!
Thx
Darren

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
intermittent fault on the servo knock out solenoid - bad connection/earth/coil breaking down - pull the coil off the spindle and see if it cures it - then try giving the coil some direct feed - with a live and an earth - if it doesn't cure it replace the solenoid

well a not so easy way would be to trace the wiring back from the dead man switch, which controls the lock out solenoid.
Aiden @CPS or a few others on here with experience of your model could probably tell you where it's located.
I'm not sure whether you'll have a separate servo pump or whether it's reduced to servo pressure from the main pumps with a PRV somewhere? -
most likely the latter -
best guess from experience of smaller Ovlovs is under the floor plates

(PRV = pressure relief valve)
