Engineers at the National University of Singapore (NUS) have developed a new way to convert natural gas into a solid form, allowing it to be stored and transported more safely and easily. The process can be done in just 15 minutes using a low-toxicity mixture.

because the network cannot cope with the demand is what i read some time ago ........ thought it had already come into effect .. and getting gas in a new build was nigh on impossible in some parts

You can only get Gas where the network is available. I live a mile from a major gas installation that moves the LNG from Milford Haven to Birmingham. National infrastructure project that didn’t need planning consent but Transco went through all the planning process. Refused at local level. When the appeal inspector asked them to look at alternative sites, there Barrister asked which side of the road do you want it on!!! The local are more upset that we don’t have gas in any of the local villages!!
