Tripods in vans

Hi Folks,

Just wondering if you lads have tidy ways to hold your tripod in a van.
Can you get a holder etc?

I dont have a van, but do my best not to get a tripod when out and about

I think they shove down a length of 6"pipe so you could screw a length to the bulkhead/roof to keep it out the way. I just keep mine tucked against the bulkhead but the tripod is the least of my worries for mess in the back of my van!

Ours is bungee strapped up against the head board.
Not ideal but atleast it stays where you put it.
I did have a bag for one at one point but no idea what happened to it

If you throw it hard enough the legs stick into something to stop it moving around

Remember that the Tripod is of course part of your Net weight of the van when stowed.

Only if it has a designated place to carry it.
Better just leave it loose

If you lie it flat on the floor van will go faster too , more wind resistance left upright
