Thwaites Nimbus dumper

Hi all, new to the forum and wondering if anyone knows if the large clutch spring for a Thwaites Nimbus dumper is still available? Ive relined the clutch but its still slipping and the spring seems quite weak.

Yes its the brake shoe and drum type.

I converted a knackered dumper into a small forklift and Ive just made a log splitter to attach on the front.

Is the brake adjuster free, working, and adjusted up?
I did one with the adjuster damaged somehow and not working, can`t remember what now, but it needed a replacement, just the pull on the rod wasnt enough to get enough to drive without slipping.

Triumph Herald! Well done on the fork lift fabrication can you measure across the spring and it’s free length?

Funnily enough I was speaking to my plumber on Wednesday, he’s currently doing up the same dumper - got talking etc and he said all the transmission parts are still available from a barge building company somewhere as they still use the engine/gearbox in them today! Might be worth a Google of some part names etc?
