Thwaites 1 tonne high lift dumper - brakes sticking on

Hi Everyone. I’ve got a Thwaites 1 tonne high lift dumper which has an intermittent problem with the brake on one of the rear wheels sticking on. When you start the machine up and select fwd or rev and attempt to move off, the near side rear wheel intermittently remains locked up. It can be released by repeating a fwd/rev movement attempt a few times, then it releases.

Any ideas?

Also, does anyone have a link to a free workshop/service manual for this machine?

If you put it drive/rev and wait 5 seconds or more before attempting to move, does it still do the same?

If you start mine and try to drive straight away it won’t go. If you wait 5 seconds it’s fine.

Thank you for your replies. I tried the 5 second delay today and it worked fine every time. A simple solution. Cheers
