I know most people on here have the luxury of a nice day out at JCB/CAT factory visits or where ever.
Well, earlier this month i was kindly invited to 'The Pecker factory' in good old Italia. It can a bit of a dry subject (like accountancy) looking into the manufacture of breakers but that's how i roll. It was interesting to see from CAD to the milling of lower blocks, hardness tests, heat treatment, paint shop and so on onto the finished product. We are now introducing the composite lower bush on 20t upwards to save you old boys from the worry of greasing ...lol. The hospitality in the form of food was just as good with thanks to senor Calo.
